Tatum ISD renews administrators' contracts for 2026–27; several resignations and retirements announced
Summary
The board renewed administrators' contracts for 2026–27 by a 6-0 vote and was informed of one accepted resignation and multiple resignations/retirements effective at the end of 2025–26.
Dr. J.P. Richardson asked the board to approve the administrators’ contract renewals for the 2026–27 school year. Mrs. Kip Smith Amick moved to renew the contracts, and Mr. Stephen Skinner seconded; the board approved renewals 6‑0.
Dr. Richardson also informed the board that Kristyn Stovall had submitted a resignation effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year and that the board had accepted resignations/retirements from Tandy Deason, Sheri Finn, Deborah Head, Kim McManamay, Pamela Prather, and Linda Robertson effective at the end of 2025–26. Dr. Richardson stated he had no information regarding the employment of professional personnel at the time of the meeting.
