Zillah authorizes Adams Park COAF agreement, Mayor to sign

The City of Zillah Council voted Aug. 5 to approve Resolution 2024-30 and authorized the Mayor to sign the agreement with the Recreation and Conservation Office to pursue COAF funding for the Adams Park Kid Zone. Councilmember Janice Gonzales moved the resolution and Councilmember Beth Hustead seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Community Development Director Ardele Steele told the Council the city has applied for COAF assistance for the Adams Park project (project code referenced as 24-2068 DEV). The resolution authorizes execution of the agreement if awarded and directs the mayor to sign on the city's behalf.
