At its Sept. 3 meeting, the Zillah City Council unanimously approved Resolution No. 2024-32 to amend the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) grant designation and name Community Development Director Ardele Steele as the City's authorized representative for a Community Outdoor Athletic Facilities (COAF) funding application. The motion to adopt the resolution was moved by Councilmember Janice Gonzales and seconded by Councilmember Beth Hustead.
The resolution formally updates Section 2 of the city's grant designation to identify Steele as the contact and signatory for the COAF application, enabling staff to complete and submit application materials on behalf of the city.
