City Manager reports on Seaver Street drainage and plans to market Union Street bonds in September

City Manager Jamey Conn reported to the council that a meeting took place with the County Drain Commissioner, ROWE, DPW Superintendent Smith and Water & Sewer Superintendent Waldron to determine drainage routing for the Seaver Street Project; engineers currently have flows directed to Drain #1. Conn said he spoke with Andy Campbell of Bedzinski and Company about Union Street bonding and that the firms will analyze market conditions with a plan to sell bonds in September.
Conn also reported attending the June Greater Gratiot Meeting where there was "much discussion surrounding EGLE and unfunded mandates" and provided an update on the playground slide layout. The minutes list these as informational updates included on the consent agenda and in the City Manager’s written report; no formal council action was recorded on these items during the meeting.
