Commission adopts five-year CIP; $150,000 Habitat for Humanity allocation moved to Northwest CRA

The Pompano Beach City Commission adopted the five-year capital improvement plan for fiscal years 2026–2030 and approved a funding change for a Habitat for Humanity project.
Budget Director Josh Waters (S9) said the only change from the July presentation was removal of a $150,000 allocation in the general capital fund for a Habitat for Humanity CIP project; "the funding for that project will now be carried by the Northwest CRA," he said. Waters also noted letters of support from boards and commissions were included in the commission packet.
The commission had no public input on the item and voted to adopt the CIP as presented.
