Board sets caps for nonresident inter-district transfers for 2026–27
Summary
The Board approved nonresident admission caps by grade for 2026–27 (Kindergarten 25; Grades 1–12: 3,15,10,12,5,6,16,20,10,20,20,20 respectively); motion was unanimous 7-0.
At the May 7 meeting the North Bend School District Board approved recommended nonresident inter-district transfer caps for the 2026–27 school year. Director Michelle Roberts moved to establish the caps and Director DeAnne Wiedenmann seconded; the Board approved the list unanimously 7-0.
The approved caps by grade are: Kindergarten 25; Grade 1 — 3; Grade 2 — 15; Grade 3 — 10; Grade 4 — 12; Grade 5 — 5; Grade 6 — 6; Grade 7 — 16; Grade 8 — 20; Grade 9 — 10; Grade 10 — 20; Grade 11 — 20; Grade 12 — 20. The Board noted these numbers as the district’s admissions limits for nonresident applicants in each grade for 2026–27.
