Ridgefield Park sustainable committee re-elects Veronica Leone as chair, names Harry Menta vice chair

Chair Veronica Leone called the Jan. 22, 2026 meeting of the Village of Ridgefield Park Sustainable RP committee to order at 7:05 p.m. and noted the meeting was posted under the Open Public Meeting Act (N.J.A. 10:4-6 et seq.). Seven members were present and several were excused.
The committee approved the Oct. 23, 2025 minutes on a motion by Veronica Leone, seconded by Dan Raftery; the minutes were adopted by voice vote. Elections followed: Dan Raftery moved and Dennise Santana seconded the nomination of Veronica Leone as chair; the motion carried. Veronica Leone then moved and Dan Raftery seconded a motion nominating Harry Menta as vice chair; that motion also carried with all present recorded as in favor. The meeting adjourned at 7:54 p.m. on a motion by Veronica Leone, seconded by Dan Raftery.
The meeting record lists excused members and provides the committee’s 2026 meeting schedule; the next meeting is set for Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
