The finance committee representative (S8) reported a bank balance of $16,003.13 and recent expenditures of roughly $1,405 this month, most of which covered mini storage and other routine costs. "As of today, we have $16,000 and 313 $16,003.13 in our bank account," they said, and added the committee expects those funds will cover operations for the remainder of the year while also planning fundraising for 2026.
S8 noted the finance committee received a $300 donation this month and that total donations year-to-date are $1,318. The representative warned the board that the insurance renewal is scheduled for June 1 and that the cost is significant; the committee is preparing to either request an amendment to coverage or pay the bill, and will share more details with partner organizations and the board when available.
