Hopkinton council asks Westerly and DEM for Potter Hill Dam data, stakeholder inclusion

"We got a 115 residents that we asked for information from the town of Westerly," Burns said, pressing the council to request data and be copied on future meetings about the dam.
Councilor motioned to send letters to the Westerly Town Council and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management asking for any reports, findings, test-well and water-sample data and to formally add Hopkinton to stakeholder notification lists; the motion was seconded and passed. Councilors said the request seeks to ensure affected residents have access to historical study materials and invitations to upcoming meetings; staff will prepare and send the letters.
