On the introduction vote recorded in the minutes, Council President Thomas and Councilman Singleton moved the motion; Councilwoman Armistead voted Nay and Councilwoman Evans abstained but the motion carried.
Council members indicated they will continue discussing the mix of housing, with some members and the Mayor noting the sale is intended to attract property owners and boost school and business numbers.
