During the non-consent portion of the Feb. 24 meeting, Council President Anthony Floria-Callori moved to approve Resolution R-50-2026 authorizing payment of bills; the motion passed unanimously with five affirmative votes. The subsequent consent agenda—passed by voice vote—included R-51-2026 (2025 budget transfers), R-52-2026 (appointment of Teno Stewart as a Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department), R-53-2026 (a change order with AJM Contractors, Inc. for Fox Run, Sleepy Hollow Court and Jasmine Place road improvements), R-54-2026 (recreation fees) and a raffle license RA-4-2026 (CASA Essex County Tricky Tray).
Council recorded unanimous support from the five members present; no roll-call objections were noted. Borough Counsel Jarrid Kantor confirmed that no additional notice was required for the tabling action earlier in the meeting and staff will proceed with the administrative steps to implement appointments and change orders.
