Uintah Council unanimously approves ordinance shifting some business-license reviews to staff

City Recorder Michelle Mortensen explained that the ordinance contains several edits, including a provision that some license reviews will not need to go to the Planning Commission and instead would be handled by staff; she said the city attorney also made changes to the draft. Council Member Combe said planning commission is primarily focused on land use and supported shifting licensing oversight to staff. Council Member Roberts moved to approve the ordinance; the motion was seconded by Council Member Patterson and carried unanimously.
