Ridgefield Park to introduce building permit-fee ordinance Feb. 10

Mayor Adam MacNeill told commissioners on Feb. 5 that Village Attorney Chris Chapman has been coordinating with Mike Landolfi on revisions to the Building Department permit-fee schedule. The mayor said fees are being set based on comparisons with surrounding municipalities and that the ordinance is scheduled for introduction at the Board’s Feb. 10 meeting.
No fee schedule or dollar figures were presented at the caucus; officials indicated the proposal is in draft and will be introduced at the regular meeting for public hearing and vote as required by municipal ordinance procedures.
