Bond update: Taft ISD reports progress on athletics, theatre, furniture and campus projects

District staff provided the Board with a bond program update covering multiple projects across Taft ISD.
Amos Byington told trustees that work continues on the baseball/softball concession stand and that activities are underway at the tennis court site. Final design meetings are in progress for high school theatre rigging, lighting and curtain systems. The Board was also informed that high school furniture procurement has advanced and that a contract was awarded to MeTEOR Education. Additional updates covered the Agriculture and Transportation Building and planning for the Woodroe Petty Elementary gym.
