Board approves consent agenda; names new principal and administrative assistant, accepts resignation

At its June 8, 2026 special meeting the Floodwood Public School District Board approved a consent agenda that included personnel appointments and a board resignation.
A motion by Pete Kramer, seconded by Kellee Young, carried by unanimous voice vote to approve updated job descriptions, At-will contracts for Amanda Fjeld as principal for FY27 and FY28, and an At-will contract for Ashley Engh as District Administrative Assistant/MARSS/Enrollment for FY27. The board also accepted the resignation of board member Tanya Johnson effective May 28, 2026.
The Facilities Manager At-will contract was removed from the consent agenda and considered separately later in the meeting. The board recorded attendance of five members and adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
