Council member (speaker 4) reported that the Old Tappan Library saw a 31% increase in door counts compared with the prior September and that year-to-date circulation is up 31% in 2025 versus 2024. The council member noted weekend-hour adjustments for 2026 and plans for a November 15 craft fair with space for 34 vendors.
"The door, count, which is number of people going into the library, was up 31% from September to September," the council member said. The library will convene a policy review committee to update patron and employee policies on a two- and five-year cycle, and the council encouraged residents and vendors to participate in the upcoming fundraiser.
