Valley Mills ISD campuses report STAAR testing, FFA successes, performances and enrollment at 666

Campus leaders updated the board on end-of-year activities and assessments. Elementary staff recognized Teacher and Employee of the Month and previewed the May 1 Food Truck event and field trips as STAAR testing concludes for grades 3–5.
At the junior high, staff reported completion of ELAR STAAR tests and finishing 8th-grade Science and Social Studies assessments, with Math testing scheduled; a May 4 motivational speaker (Keith Davis) was announced. The high school reported CNA students completed state testing, 11 FFA students advancing to state competitions in Homesite, Horse and Cotton judging categories, and student recognitions. The district enrollment was reported as 666 students.
