The Borough Administrator asked council to consider Douglas C. McVarish’s proposal to prepare and submit a National Register nomination for the Samuel Paul House. Council adopted R.25.241 to authorize proceeding with the nomination preparation and submission.
Separately, the council adopted R.25.233 authorizing solicitation of RFPs for architectural and professional services to restore the Samuel Paul House and convert it into a museum. The actions establish planning and procurement steps; the council also approved RFP authority to begin selecting design and preservation consultants.
