Trustees recognize Students of the Month and present Top Ten plaques; graduation scheduled May 22

During the April 13 meeting the board recognized Maryn Kersh (elementary), Taylor Morris (middle) and Addison Blanton (high) as Students of the Month. Principal Travis Goode and Counselor Tracye Martin presented Top Ten graduating seniors with plaques and named the students recognized.
The minutes list the Top Ten and note nine honor graduates attended an Honor Graduate dinner prepared by Troup High School culinary arts students; one honor graduate left early to accept a scholarship. Superintendent and board members noted that graduation is scheduled for May 22 at 8:00 p.m.
The recognitions were ceremonial and did not require board action; they were recorded early in the agenda under recognitions and announcements.
