Tatum ISD board approves 2026–27 school calendar

Dr. J.P. Richardson told trustees the District Improvement Team met and reviewed calendar drafts for 2026–27. Two calendars were selected and submitted to district staff for review and a staff vote; the calendars included days of instruction, early release days, staff development days, employee work days, holidays and minutes banked for bad weather days.
Mr. Curt Smith moved to approve the 2026–27 school year calendar as presented; Mrs. Kip Amick seconded. The motion passed 6-0.
