Monroe board adopts amended 2024–25 budgets covering general, food service and bond funds

Superintendent Shaw asked the board to adopt amended budgets for multiple district funds and explained staff had vetted these changes in previous work sessions and weekly board briefs. "Tonight, we are asking the board to move to adopt the amended 2024, 2025 budgets for the general fund, food service fund, student school activity fund, 2020 bond debt fund, sinking fund, building and site fund, and the 2020–2023 bond capital projects funds as presented," Shaw said.
A board member moved to adopt the amended budgets and a roll call vote recorded unanimous approval, 6–0. Board members thanked finance staff for making the materials understandable during discussion before the vote. The board noted these amendments had been discussed in prior work sessions and would be reflected in published board briefs.
