Presenter Ms. Shook listed vendor awards within the package, naming line-item awards such as $126,000 to Blue Star Inc., $725,000 to The Speaker Company (category 06a), $614,730 to Lehi Electric Company (category 26a), and other subcontract awards. "The total bid package number 7 approval is not to exceed $2,765,612 and will be funded from the 2020, 2023 bond capital projects fund," Ms. Shook told the board.
Board members asked clarifying questions about bond series notation and staff explained that the bond issuance included series in 2020 and 2023; the presenter said the listing simply indicates the bond series that will fund the work. After the brief discussion the board approved the award by roll call, 7–0.
The contract approvals authorize the district to proceed with contractor selection for the described categories; the board recorded the vote and directed staff to proceed with administrative implementation per standard capital-project processes.
