Council introduces salary ordinance updating pay ranges for 2024–2027
Summary

Attorney Bayer read Ordinance 04‑2026, which amends Ordinance 34‑2023 to fix annual salaries and compensation ranges for elected officials and employees from 2024 through 2027. The ordinance text includes detailed minimum/maximum pay bands for dozens of municipal positions and states the ordinance shall be effective upon passage with the salary schedules effective January 1, 2024. Administrator Lucia explained the ordinance; the council voted to introduce it and scheduled a Feb. 25, 2026 public hearing.
