Commission discusses Tim Kendall boundary-line adjustment; no motion as checklist incomplete

The commission discussed a boundary-line adjustment request from Tim Kendall Aug. 26 but took no formal action after staff said the applicant had not completed required checklist items.
Jeff Holden presented Kendall's plan to purchase the parcel under the White House from the J&E/J&L trust, create a one-acre lot and establish a 60-foot access way for future development. Holden reported that Kendall "has completed about half the checklist" and still needed to contact contiguous property owners and finish remaining checklist items. Commissioners considered whether the proposal constituted a minor subdivision or a lot-line adjustment under the new subdivision ordinance and confirmed the new rules treat all subdivisions the same regardless of lot count.
No motion was made; staff advised the applicant to complete neighbor notifications and the checklist before returning to the commission.
