Troy ISD board sets Aug. 3 budget workshop and Aug. 31 regular meeting

The Troy ISD Board voted unanimously June 15 to hold a budget workshop on Aug. 3 at 5:30 p.m. and its regular August meeting on Aug. 31 at 6:00 p.m.; the motion was made by Carrie Trees and seconded by Jeffrey Thigpen.
A motion by Carrie Trees, seconded by Jeffrey Thigpen, to set the districts August calendar passed unanimously. The board approved a Budget Workshop on August 3 at 5:30 p.m. and a Regular Board Meeting on August 31 at 6:00 p.m.; the motion recorded seven ayes and no nays.
Board members listed as voting in favor were Amy McKissick, Jason Collier, Bill Negron, Carrie Trees, Gary McMurtry, Jeffrey Thigpen and Lindsey Strait. The motion carried unanimously.
