Old Tappan adopts recreation-fee and zoning amendments on second reading

At the July 21 meeting the borough council adopted two ordinances on second and final reading.
Councilman Benigni opened the public hearing for Ordinance 12-81-25, an amendment to chapter 9119 (recreation program fees). No members of the public spoke on the ordinance; the council moved, seconded and adopted the ordinance and directed the borough clerk to publish notice of adoption as required by law.
The council also adopted Ordinance 12-82-25, an amendment to the zoning code (article/chapter 255). The ordinance was introduced earlier and came up for second and final reading on July 21; the council adopted it with roll-call affirmation and instructed the clerk to publish the required notice.
