Vice Mayor and other commissioners asked about technology to reduce manual review; Alfred noted the Granicus application — approved as a separate second‑reading ordinance — should improve public access and keyword searchability for uploaded documents.
The Granicus master subscription and service agreement was adopted on second reading with unanimous votes. The clerk said the public‑facing part of Granicus will allow keyword searches of transcripts and documents; staff acknowledged more advanced redaction tools are being evaluated for sensitive data.
