Notable line items included serving-line replacements at multiple campuses not to exceed $998,944.60; replacement telescopic bleachers for Finley Junior High not to exceed $215,000; purchase of three vehicles for support services not to exceed $115,000; cafeteria sound systems for Dunaway and Northside Elementaries not to exceed $140,000; and Bluebonnet Learning math consumables and online access for 2026–2027 not to exceed $204,926.40. The consent agenda (items A–EE) passed 6-0, with the separate item FF (the ~110-acre purchase) passing 5-0-1 with one abstention.
The board also approved several personnel and administrative actions recorded in open session: Trustee Judd McCutchen’s motion to uphold an administrator decision in a Level Three grievance and deny requested remedies passed 6-0; Trustee Debbie Timmermann’s motion to hire Ryan Ward as Director of Transportation passed 6-0; and the board approved certification of instructional materials for 2026–2027 with a 6-0 vote. Trustee Debbie Timmermann moved and Trustee Kim Kriegel seconded the naming of the Richard's Park pressbox as the Ken Roberts Pressbox; that motion passed 6-0.
