Board approves library materials list and TERP-funded backhoe; lists upcoming events

Trustees approved the School Library Advisory Council Recommended List of Library Materials following a motion by Jeff Ford and a second by Dan Woods; the motion carried unanimously. The board also accepted a quote from On Track Equipment for the purchase of a backhoe, to be funded with TERP grant funds, on a motion by Jeff Ford seconded by Wally Wallace. That purchase was approved by unanimous vote.
The minutes conclude with a notice of upcoming events: Baccalaureate on May 17, Dr. Beau Rees’s retirement reception on May 19, WHS Graduation on May 21 at Kangaroo Stadium, and the next board meeting scheduled for June 8 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
