Weatherford ISD approves principal and administrative appointments, and superintendent contract addendum

The Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved several personnel appointments after reconvening in open session at 7:04 p.m. May 11.
Jeff Ford moved to name Belinda Fincher as Principal of Ikard Elementary; Adam Feriend seconded the motion and the board voted yes (Catlin, Feriend, Ford, Lucia, Stephens, Wallace, Woods). Following that, a motion by Adam Feriend, seconded by Jeff Ford, named Dr. Jessica Duenez Director of Student Services; that motion carried by the same unanimous tally. Trustees then voted to name Patricia Melendez Chief Financial Officer after a motion by Kindra Lucia and second by Wally Wallace.
The board also approved an addendum to Superintendent Dr. Beau Rees’s contract after a motion by Jeff Ford and a second from Adam Feriend; that motion passed unanimously. The meeting record shows the district moved these items in a single open-session block of personnel business immediately after executive session.
