The board approved the 2024–25 student/parent handbook, athletic and activities handbook and several Insight School of Washington handbooks after motions and seconds; administrators said changes reflect the Engagely rollout and updates for McKinney-Vento and Title IX/regulatory clarifications.
Directors also adopted certificated (resolution 18-23/24) and classified (resolution 19-23/24) staffing resolutions plus fall coaches, unrepresented and administrative staff resolutions. Superintendent Diana noted six certificated vacancies and seven classified vacancies — largely special-education paraeducator roles — and described interim staff reassignments to meet high-need student supports.
