The board also approved renewal of Deep-Dive LLC as the district’s TIA technical assistance provider in an approximate amount of $20,000 (TIA funds) and approved bus rental purchases from Escamilla that caused aggregate spending with that vendor to exceed the $10,000 threshold (local funds). The motion to approve the expenses was made by Trustee Jaime Gaona and seconded by Board President Claudia Coronado; the motion was recorded as passed with five votes in favor and two absences.
