The Valley View ISD Board voted on April 28 to approve the Texas Education Agency Allotment and TEKS Certification Renewal Form for the 2026–2027 school year.
Sandra Riojas, identified as the district’s Data Management & Assessment Director, was listed as the presenter. Interim Superintendent Dr. Monica Luna told trustees that "everything stayed the same" for the renewal, and the board approved the form on a motion by Jaime Gaona, seconded by Claudia Coronado. The recorded vote showed five in favor and two absent at the time of the motion.
