The Palatine Village Council voted April 18 to approve a series of appointments and reappointments to village boards and commissions and to rotate council committee assignments for the coming year. The council noted Eric Friedman was moved from the Zoning Board of Appeals to the Planning Commission; Jim Pedro was reappointed to the Police and Fire Commission. "Jim's been reappointed to the Police and Fire Commission," the mayor said during the meeting.
Council members said the reappointments reflect continuity of service and thanked volunteers. The motion to approve the appointments and the committee reassignments passed on voice votes and will appear on the consent agenda. No members of the public spoke on the items during committee-level discussion.
