Eatontown honors ambulance crew, RWJ medics and police for December life‑saving response

The proclamation named EMT Anastasia Smith, James Baston, Robert Wood Johnson medics and Officer Corey DeFeo for their response and credited use of an AED for reviving the resident.
A first‑aid captain who came forward to accept awards described the crew as "a great asset" and praised individual members for their composure and quick action. Mayor and council members thanked volunteers and noted the event as a reminder of the value of CPR and first‑aid training in the community.
