The Board carried the completeness hearing for File ZB-2024-08 (Joao Rocha, 23 Levinson Ave.) after counsel for the applicant said the applicant's planner had surgery and could not attend. The Board limited the action to a completeness review and agreed to carry the matter to Nov. 26, 2024.
Planner Todd Bletcher and Attorney James Kinneally advised the Board that "there are time limitations where we are obligated to hear the applicant unless the applicant carries the hearing," and cautioned that failure to act within the statutory timeframe could expose the Board to an automatic approval. The Board's motion to carry preserves the applicant's ability to avoid automatic approval by affirmatively carrying the application.
