At its March 12 meeting the Borough of Clayton Council approved a consent agenda of resolutions (Resolutions 65-26 through 81-26) by unanimous roll call. The package included routine fiscal items, tax-cancellation actions for disabled veterans, a tonnage grant application, authorizations related to property form approvals and engineering escrow fees, raffle license approval, authorization to conduct an electronic tax sale, an emergency temporary appropriation for 2026, and authorization to purchase a UL2200-listed EPA Tier 3 certified Caterpillar emergency generator (Model C2.2) through the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey cooperative purchasing contract.
Councilwoman Moorhouse moved the consent block and Councilman Rollo seconded; the roll call recorded yes votes from Wolak, Rollo, Chapes, Moorhouse and Long. The motion carried and the listed resolutions were approved as a group. The council also approved waiving permit fees for the Clayton Fire House bathroom project as part of that consent block.
