The Board carried the completeness hearing for File ZB-2024-06 (Tania Carvalho, 185 Whitehead Ave.) to Nov. 26, 2024 and set a Nov. 12 deadline for required documents and fees. Clerk Ms. Moy said the applicant has moved to Florida and that the applicant's daughter, Ludhmi Carvalho, intends to complete the application process.
Chairman Bodak recounted that "this applicant constructed the driveway within the setback without approval in 2021 and sold the house in July 2024 and has since moved to Florida." Administrator Arthur Londensky noted that, if the Board dismisses the application without prejudice, summonses could be issued to the seller for work done without permits. The Board's motion to carry included explicit direction to include both seller and buyer attorneys in communications and required submissions by Nov. 12.
