The Borough of South River Zoning Board of Adjustments approved File ZB-2024-07 (Garden River, LLC) and adopted corrected minutes for prior meetings at its Oct. 22, 2024 session. The Board also approved a resolution of denial for File ZB-2024-09 (AJ Andre & JR Properties).
Board Attorney James Kinneally told members that "minutes are not an official transcript; the recording is." The statement came during a discussion of suggested edits to the Aug. 27, 2024 minutes after member Edward Trygar said he had questioned an attorney about whether the applicant, attorney and engineer were the same parties in a prior matter. The Board voted to approve the amended minutes for Aug. 27 and Sept. 24, 2024.
The Garden River LLC resolution was moved by Edward Trygar and seconded by John Frost; the roll-call vote recorded Jeremiah O'Grady, Edward Trygar, John Frost and Chairman Robert Bodak as eligible and in favor. The denial for AJ Andre & JR Properties was moved by Trygar, seconded by Frost, and supported by Trygar, Frost and Bodak on roll call. No further public comment was offered on these items at the meeting.
