Board postpones trash cleanup but finds 114 North Street in violation for unpermitted work
Summary
Code Enforcement postponed the trash/debris violation at 114 North Street to March 4, 2025 after noting improvements, but separately voted 6-0 to find the property in violation of Sections 18-91 and 18-91.5 for work started before permits were obtained and for fence installation without a permit.

Inspector Chris Gonzalez told the Code Enforcement Board that property owners at 114 North Street have made progress removing trash and debris but that cleanup was not yet complete. Gonzalez reported the tarp barrier around the property had been removed and replaced with fencing installed without a permit.
Board Member Daniel Welsh moved to postpone the Section 38-94 trash/debris violation to the March 4, 2025 meeting; the motion was seconded by Nick Farell and passed 6-0. Welsh then moved, and Bruce Woloshin seconded, a separate finding that the property is in violation of Sections 18-91 and 18-91.5 (work starting before permit issuance); that finding also carried 6-0. The board directed staff to return with documentation of cleanup and permit filings at the March 4 meeting.
