Winter Garden Code Enforcement Board swears in new member, approves minutes and schedules follow-ups

The Code Enforcement Board met Feb. 4, 2025, in City Hall Commission Chambers with Chairman Marvin E. Vasquez presiding. The meeting opened at 6:15 p.m. and a quorum was declared. Recording Secretary Colene Rivera swore in Planning Director Kelly Carson, Assistant City Attorney Hillary Grifith, Code Enforcement Supervisor Chris Gonzalez and newly appointed board member Eddie Young.
Board Member Linette Coleman moved to approve the Jan. 7, 2025 meeting minutes; the motion was seconded by Vice-Chairman Bruce Woloshin and carried 6-0. The board then took up two old-business code cases and heard staff reports and motions directing further action and scheduling follow-up at the next scheduled meeting on March 4, 2025.
The meeting included staff presentations from Code Enforcement Supervisor Chris Gonzalez and Planning Director Kelly Carson and closed with an adjournment at 6:24 p.m. No public comments were recorded during the meeting.
