Maize council adopts 2026 amended budget after required hearing

"Just briefly, I just wanna mention on July 20, 2026, the governing body accepted this 2026 amended budget and directed staff to publish a notice of hearing in the Hutch Tribune, to follow state law," the staff member said.
A council member moved to adopt the amended budget as published; the motion was seconded and the council took a roll-call vote with the members present recorded as voting "yay." The chair closed the budget hearing afterwards. The staff member stood for questions but there were no substantive changes requested during the hearing.
