Business Manager Mindee Mata told the board on May 18 that estimated taxable property values are down this year and that the district will not know exact amounts until July.
Mata said the district "should be okay due to this, but it could make it harder making the bond payments, but again we will not know for sure till July when we get the actual amounts." The board recorded no specific dollar figures. The minutes show the update was informational; no action or contingency measures were adopted at the meeting.
Superintendent Jake Jackson also announced graduation logistics: lineup at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria and, weather permitting, graduation at the stadium; the ceremony will move to the gym if weather prevents outdoor events.
