Council approves developer agreement for 2M-gallon water tank and booster at Pinebrook Road site

Eatontown on March 11 approved a Developer's Agreement with New Jersey American Water for a water-storage and booster-pumping facility on the property shown as Block 601, Lot 1.02 at 600 Pinebrook Road.
The resolution recites that the Planning Board granted preliminary and final site-plan approval and that the project consists of "a 30 foot high, 105 ft. diameter, 2 million-gallon ground water storage tank and a 1,830 sq. foot booster pump station" to improve water-pressure zones in Monmouth County. The developers agreement was a condition of the Planning Board resolution; council authorized the mayor to execute it in a form approved by the borough attorney.
Council members said the agreement ensures the project will proceed in coordination with borough conditions set during site-plan review. The developer's project will be subject to the boroughs construction and inspection requirements and any required permits.
