The Personnel Board voted to send Janet Mondragon forward for appointment as a full-time Police Officer. Chairman Regep asked for the motion; Member Pullum moved and Member Gholeh seconded. The roll call recorded five ayes and no nays, and the motion carried.
On a separate motion, the board voted to pass candidate Nader Abdelfattah forward "with reservations" and to ensure he was made aware of issues that appeared in his polygraph; Member Gholeh moved and Member Lopez seconded and the motion carried on a unanimous roll call. The board also declined to move candidate Alfaro Manriquez forward, citing the psychologist's recommendation of no hiring and noting he had not been allowed to take the polygraph; Member Mazarka moved and Member Pullum seconded and the motion carried 5–0.
