Airport director reports surge in operations, completed taxiway work and plans for hangar growth

Suske cited fuel sales of roughly 42,000 gallons (combined jet and avgas) in the reporting period and said the airport is home to 31 based aircraft and maintains roughly 26 enclosed hangars. He said FAA certification inspections were scheduled but delayed and that the airport expects to pursue additional hangar construction and continued community outreach—highlighting a fly‑in event that drew an estimated 700 guests and 22 visiting aircraft. Council thanked airport staff and volunteers and had brief follow‑up questions about partnering with local schools and the Tango Flight program.
