"They're both homeless people... the individual, 52 year old suspect, shot him 6 times and killed him and then tried to dispose of the body," the sheriff said, praising the major crimes team for detailed investigative work. He said the preliminary hearing "locks in witness's statements" and that a grand jury process may follow.
