Sheriff warns drivers after heavy monsoon rain, urges caution around road closures

"Enjoy it, but understand the dangers of all this water," the sheriff said, noting that rain has turned some county roads into hazards where the pavement can wash away and leave hidden holes. He reminded listeners that drivers should avoid flooded areas and said deputies are monitoring known trouble spots and closing roads when needed to protect the public.
