Rosemont holds public hearing on TIF No. 4 amendment and proposed Balmoral/River Road TIF 9

Mayor Debbie Stephens opened a public hearing during the Village of Rosemont Board meeting on Oct. 14 to review the South River Road TIF No. 4 Sixth Amendment and the proposed Balmoral/River Road TIF 9. Sean Sullivan, who said he served as Triton College's representative at prior Joint Review Board (JRB) meetings, asked for clarity on two questions raised at the TIF 4 JRB meeting and on how TIF assistance is afforded to taxing bodies.
Iryna Dziuk of Ryan LLC reviewed the Joint Review Board procedures for both the TIF No. 4 amendment and the proposed TIF No. 9. No formal votes on either TIF were recorded at the hearing; Mayor Stephens adjourned the public hearing at 9:40 a.m. for the Board's regular meeting business to continue.
