Mayor Glenn Odom signed a proclamation declaring Oct. 24, 2025, “McBee Head Start Awareness Day” after moving approval and receiving a second from Councilman James Linton. The council recorded no public discussion and the motion passed unanimously.
Councilman James Linton then moved, with a second from Councilman Ricky Peoples, to sign a proclamation recognizing Officer Larry Brown; that motion also passed with all members voting in favor. The actions were recorded during the public-hearing portion of the Oct. 24 special Town Council meeting. There were no public comments on either proclamation.
